An accessories industry veteran, designer Michelle Vale, has received extensive press, design awards and various accolades for her eponymous handbag collection. Her line is the first to offer custom removable hardware option, allowing women to select from a variety of hardware finishes, with made to measure chain lengths.
The collection are produced in New York City’s famed garment center. Michelle Vale has a celebrity following including Sarah Jessica Parker, Cate Blanchen and Cameron Diaz and in 2010, she received the IHDA award for innovation out of 800 international designers. In 2014, she was named a finalist for the prestigious Fashion Group International Rising Star Awards and recently launched a collaboration with global automobile brand, Audi. Vale recently completed producing her first documentary “Make it in America: Empowering Global Fashion.” She is thrilled about her her next venture, SOAK, and is passionate about bringing the make it in America fashion message to the masses.
