World’s Finest Chocolate
Ginny Ketch, of Scarborough, is World’s Finest Chocolate representative here in Maine and is excited about being on the road meeting with PTA members, scouting leaders, ROTC leaders, daycare providers, school principals and development staff members just to help them raise money. She joined World’s Finest Chocolate as an independent sales representative in late 2014 after 13 ½ years as the Community Life Services director at Piper Shores, a retirement community, in Scarborough, ME. Prior to that, she worked in alumni advancement with the University of New England as the undergraduate and graduate alumni director.
Ginny is a native of Houlton, ME and a graduate of both Westbrook College (now UNE) and University of Southern Maine. She has worked as a fundraising volunteer for over 25 years for numerous organizations including University of New England, Houlton High School Alumni Association, United Way, and Maine Senior Games.
Ginny is passionate about helping groups raise money to help their cause. Be it a church mission trip, playground equipment for a school or daycare, music boosters, scout programs, music festivals, nursing homes raising money for a resident vehicle, or scholarships. She states, “For me it is all about the kids, the residents at the nursing home, or the cause that funds are needed for. It’s what motivates me every day to go out and do my job. I get to help improve quality of life for students, schools, church members, and nursing home residents, and the like. How wonderful is that?”
