Catherine Wygant Fossett
Institute for Family Owned Business
June 2 at Museum LA, Lewiston, ME
8am-Noon with Silent Auction –
As the daughter of a U.S. Foreign Service officer, Catherine was a world-wide traveler, graduated from Bates College, then settled in Portland. She split 20 years between Hewins Travel, as director of marketing, and Hurley Travel Experts, as director of sales. Catherine served as executive director of the Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce for the past three years. She remains on boards at the Boothbay Civic Association and Boothbay Sea & Science Center.
The Institute’s board chairman, John Isaacson, says of Catherine, “Her skills seem ideal for the Institute, since she’s travelled the globe and worked with such a broad range of businesses at the Boothbay Chamber. That parallels the Institute’s membership in many, many ways.”
