In 1997 Leslie Morissette learned first hand what it was like to spend months at a time in the hospital while their son, Graham, was in cancer treatment.

During this time Leslie became keenly aware of a great need for children and families to access the internet.  It was this need that inspired her to create Grahamtastic Connection.

The program had humble beginnings, supporting only 10 Maine children in 1998.  We now provide computers and internet access to more than 100 seriously ill children a year from Maine to California.  In addition, thousands of children use our laptops and tablets, permanently placed at over 30 facilities across the country, such as Boston Ronald McDonald House and Maine Children’s Cancer Program.  Westbrook Regional Vocational Center has written their computer technology curriculum to include the repair of Grahamtastic laptops.   They learn to refurbish computers and, more  importantly, they learn to help kids who are less fortunate.
