Every drop of our whole milk comes from grass-fed cows grazing on family farms in New England, all certified organic. Those cows don’t homogenize their milk, so neither do we.
Why we believe in grass-fed milk. Organic, grass-fed milk has three times the Conjugated Linoleic Acids (CLAs) as conventional milk. That matters because studies show CLAs promote muscle growth, burn fat more efficiently, help prevent cancer, support your immune system and lower your risk of heart disease and diabetes. We only use whole milk, because our bodies need fat to digest protein and better absorb vitamins and calcium. Best of all, grass-fed milk contains 63% more Omega-3s than conventional milk. Omega-3s reduce the risk of heart disease, cancer and arthritis.
The Indian tradition of slowly (and patiently) culturing milk for 12 hours creates a creamy taste always smooth and never tart.Traditional Indian yogurt is special. The slow culturing is three times longer than other yogurts. In addition to a creamier flavor, this also results in a less acidic drink. That means those probiotics live longer, guaranteeing at least 15 billion living probiotics in every serving when you get it home.
Finally, because Indian style yogurt is not tart, when we do add just a touch of organic cane sugar, we can always keep it to five grams or less.
Every serving is alive with 15 billion probiotics.
